Purpose of the site

Intellectuality is an online platform operated under the SaaS (Software as a Service) model. It is a commercial digital service, selling services in the form of licences to use the online software. The platform allows users to upload their documents and obtain automated financial analyses together with tailored recommendations. Use of the site is subject to specific terms of use and/or sale (SaaS licence) setting out how the service is subscribed to and accessed.

Intellectual property

This site and all of its content (in particular texts, graphics, logos, images, videos, layouts and software) are the exclusive property of Intellectuality or, where applicable, of its partners or service providers. Unless stated otherwise, all intellectual property rights in this content are reserved. Any reproduction, representation, adaptation, modification or distribution of the site or any of its elements, in whole or in part, without the prior written authorisation of Intellectuality, is prohibited and would constitute an infringement punishable by law. The name Intellectuality and its logo are registered trade marks or, failing that, protected commercial marks; any unauthorised use of these distinctive signs is prohibited.

Any third-party content (texts, images, videos and the like originating from partners or users) remains the property of its respective authors. Intellectuality undertakes to remove without delay any disputed content, or any content infringing copyright, that is legitimately reported to it.

Personal data and confidentiality

Intellectuality attaches great importance to protecting its users' personal data and to the confidentiality of the information entrusted to it. In accordance with French law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on data processing and civil liberties, as amended, and with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on data protection (GDPR), users of the site are informed of the following:

  • Data collected: In the course of using the platform, Intellectuality may collect and process various categories of data. These include the documents supplied by users (uploaded files), the data extracted from those documents for analysis, the financial analyses produced through the SaaS, the recommendations generated by the platform for the user, and identification and contact data such as email addresses, login credentials and passwords (stored in encrypted form). Connection data (technical logs, IP address, cookies) may also be collected for security purposes and to improve the service.
  • Purposes and legal basis: The data collected is strictly necessary to provide the service offered by Intellectuality (performance of the SaaS service contract entered into by the user). It is used in particular to carry out the requested analyses, to deliver the corresponding results and recommendations, to manage user accounts (authentication, customer support) and to improve the features of the site.
  • Confidentiality: The information and documents entrusted by users are treated in strict confidence. Intellectuality undertakes never to disclose the content of the documents transmitted, nor the analyses and recommendations produced through the platform, except where required by law or by the competent authorities.
  • Retention period: Users' personal data (including documents and analyses) is retained only for as long as is strictly necessary to perform the services subscribed to.
  • Security: Intellectuality implements appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access or improper disclosure.

User rights

In accordance with the GDPR, every user has a right of access to, rectification of and erasure of their personal data, as well as the right to object to or restrict the processing of their data. Users also have the right to data portability under the conditions provided by law. These rights may be exercised at any time by sending a request to contact@intellectuality.fr, together with proof of identity.

For any question relating to the protection of personal data, you may contact the data protection officer at dpo@intellectuality.fr. If a user considers that their rights have not been respected, they may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, which in France is the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés).

Cookies

The website www.intellectuality.fr uses cookies and other trackers to ensure that it works properly and to improve the user experience (for example, to keep a login session open or to produce anonymous traffic statistics). On your first visit you are informed of the use of cookies and, where applicable, asked to consent to them in accordance with the regulations. Limitation of liability

Intellectuality makes its best efforts to ensure that the information published on the site is accurate and up to date. Nevertheless, the publisher does not warrant that the site is free of errors or accessible without interruption. Accordingly, Intellectuality cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from use of the site, from unavailability of the service, or from use of the information and results (analyses, recommendations) provided through the platform.
